This position is with Lazer Paving & Sealcoating, one of the companies under the same local ownership as Archadeck of Springfield. This is an asphalt sales job, not a deck or outdoor living job.

'Asphalt Sales Rep – Trainees and Experienced Reps Welcome

We're a local paving, sealcoating and striping company. We're hiring a salesperson who isn't afraid to go find work: knocking on doors, walking into businesses, and building relationships with property managers.

New to sales? We'll train you. You'll learn the asphalt business from a veteran with decades in the trade, how to spot the work, measure it and close it.

Already sell asphalt, paving or construction? Bring your experience and your contacts. Our pay rewards the people who bring in their own work.

What you'll do:

Knock doors in neighborhoods and talk to homeowners about sealing and paving
Visit businesses, churches, apartment complexes and HOAs to line up spring projects
Build relationships with property managers
Measure, quote and close jobs

Pay:

Trainees: $15/hour, full-time, paid weekly, plus a bonus for every estimate you set and commission on every job you bring in
Experienced reps: base pay plus our top commission rate on work you bring in yourself. The more you hunt, the more you make.
Realistic first year for a trainee: $45K–$60K. Experienced hunters make more.

You need:

A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
To show up on time, every day
To be comfortable hearing "no"
To be willing to be coached and to track your daily activity
